The festivals this month focus on the new year, the new cycle, drawing down the divine iteration and blessings into this next cycle. It is the emergence of youth, of freedom from the astral and now moving into embodiment. The ceremonies begin the primary trinity of creation (at the end of the month) to honor Ceres or the month of nature, creation. We emerge into the newly born. Actions to bring life forward, agriculturally and to honor the forces that feed life for this next cycle is the blessing that awakens around and within each of us.

1/7, March 6: Festival for Vejovis, the young version of Jupiter. This is indicative of the new child the fresh wisdom, the young blessings. Originating from Etruscan god, Vejovis (Jov-root of Jupiter). Vejovis is also connected to Aclepius the god of healing, known for resurrection of the dead. Vejovis marks the resurrection from the dead, healing in the coming back to life, not healing of wounds.
1/15, March 14: Full Moon, Anna Perenna, Turn of the wheel, abundance in next cycle. It is where we get the term Annuals and Perennials for plant cycles.
